Our Technical Director, Lorenzo Cartabia
, has participated as a representative of Plyform to the second meeting on the Clean Sky – MASCOT (Modular multilevel cost Analysis Software for Composite smart fuselage) project. The objective of the proposal is to set up a three-level-cost estimation open source software aiming at the determination of the cost of the transport composite fuselage during the design phase. Such a software is modular and easy to extend in order to allow the user to include the cost as a design parameter of a multidisciplinary optimization procedure involving CAD geometrical representation, structural analysis, Structural Health Monitoring systems.
